One such festival is the Florida Strawberry Festival, which, aside from a hiatus during World War II, has been celebrated annually since its inception in 1930. Beyond strawberries, the event includes parades, contests, and youth development programs. The 2018 Florida Strawberry Festival is scheduled to take place from March 1 to 11.
