Michael Attea has served as a data intelligence analyst with Cendyn since 2012. Prior to joining the market research firm, Michael Attea earned an MBA from the Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama. A proud alumnus, he continues to follow the university’s football team.
The University of Alabama Crimson Tide recently won its fifth national championship in nine years, and the strength of the program was further bolstered by the news that the team led all colleges, with 14 of its players attending the National Football League (NFL) Scouting Combine. Last year, the University of Michigan sent the same number of players to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
The combine provides NFL scouts an opportunity to watch draft prospects up close and put them through a variety of evaluations, such as athletic-based tests and medical and psychological exams. Alabama players attending the combine include cornerback Anthony Averett, linebacker Rashaan Evans, wide receiver Robert Foster, and running back Bo Scarbrough. Ohio State ranked second in players attending the combine, with 11, followed by Georgia and Louisiana State University at 10 each. The 2018 NFL Draft begins on April 26.
